Terms of Service

The agreement between SecurePass Solutions and the customers we serve. Last updated June 11, 2026.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SecurePass Solutions website (securepasssolutions.com) and any security system installation, design, configuration, maintenance, or related services we provide ("Services"). By booking an appointment, requesting a quote, or having work performed by us, you agree to these Terms.

SecurePass Solutions is a security systems installer based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, owned and operated by Akshay Chadha.

2. Our services

We design, supply, install, and configure security systems including CCTV camera systems, intrusion alarm systems, electronic access control, security and safety films, and mobile surveillance trailer deployments. We are an installer and integrator — we do not sell hardware as a standalone retail item.

Any reference to brand names on this website (such as Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Honeywell, DSC, 3M, and others) is for identification purposes only. We are not affiliated with those manufacturers unless explicitly stated.

3. Quotes and estimates

Quotes are based on the information you provide and, where applicable, an on-site assessment. Unless we state otherwise in writing, quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes, if unexpected site conditions are discovered, or if you request additional equipment or services after work begins.

4. Bookings, deposits, and payment

Appointments are booked through our website, by phone at +1 (437) 269-2115, or by email at service@securepasssolutions.com. For installations, we may require a deposit before ordering equipment or scheduling work. The deposit amount, payment schedule, and accepted payment methods will be specified in your written quote or service agreement.

Final payment is due upon completion of the work, unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to interest at a rate disclosed in your service agreement.

5. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may reschedule a booked appointment without charge by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a call-out fee. If equipment has been pre-ordered for your installation, deposits applied to that equipment are non-refundable.

6. Our workmanship warranty

We warrant our installation workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion. If a fault occurs in our installation work during that period (loose wiring, incorrect configuration, mounting failures), we will return at no labour cost to correct the issue. The workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Failures of the manufactured equipment itself (covered by the manufacturer's warranty)
  • Damage caused by tampering, alterations, or work by other contractors
  • Damage from power surges, lightning, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, pests, or other events outside our control
  • Wear-and-tear items including batteries, consumables, and weather-exposed cabling
  • Connectivity issues caused by your internet service provider or local network

7. Manufacturer warranties

All equipment supplied as part of our installations is covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. We will assist you in submitting valid warranty claims to the manufacturer at no additional cost during the first year. Service calls made for issues that turn out to be covered by manufacturer warranty may still incur a call-out fee.

8. Customer responsibilities

To allow us to perform the Services properly, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your property and your security requirements
  • Grant our technicians safe access to the work areas at the agreed time
  • Ensure that you have the legal right to authorize installations at the property (or have obtained the property owner's permission if you are not the owner)
  • Comply with applicable laws when using surveillance equipment we install, including notifying employees, posting required notices, and respecting the privacy of neighbours
  • Maintain network connectivity and power required for the system to operate

9. Monitoring services

Where you elect to use a third-party 24/7 alarm monitoring service that we help configure, the monitoring service is provided by an independent ULC-listed monitoring station. Your relationship and contract are with the monitoring company. We are not responsible for the monitoring company's response times, accuracy, or failures.

10. Limitation of liability

Security systems are deterrents and detection tools. No security system can prevent every loss or eliminate every risk. To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, SecurePass Solutions and its owner are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or any failure of, the Services or equipment we install — including loss of property, business interruption, or personal injury — except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim, except where a higher limit is required by law.

We strongly recommend that you maintain appropriate property and contents insurance regardless of any security system installed.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, design, code, photographs, and illustrations — is owned by SecurePass Solutions or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish this content without written permission. Trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.

12. Website use

This website is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We may update, change, or remove content at any time. We may also update these Terms — the version posted here is the version that applies. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates when changes were most recently made.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the courts of Ontario, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
