1. Who we are

SecurePass Solutions ("we", "us", "our") is a security systems installer based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, owned and operated by Akshay Chadha. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (securepasssolutions.com), why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information.

We are the organization responsible for the personal information you provide through this website. If you have any questions or want to exercise any of your privacy rights, contact us at service@securepasssolutions.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. Specifically:

• When you fill out the contact form on the Contact page: your name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, your preferred date/time (if you provide it), and the message you write.
• When you fill out the callback request form: your name, phone number, email address, the preferred date and time windows you select, and the notes you provide about what the call is for.
• When you call or email us directly: any information you choose to share during that communication.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, cookies, or any other automated tracking on this website. We do not collect your IP address, browser fingerprint, or browsing behavior.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to:

• Reply to your inquiry and provide the information you asked for
• Schedule and confirm appointments, site assessments, or callbacks
• Prepare quotes and service agreements for the work you're considering
• Carry out installation, configuration, and follow-up service for work you book
• Send relevant follow-up communication directly related to the work you've inquired about (for example, a quote, an appointment reminder, or a warranty update)

We do not add you to a marketing list, sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything you didn't reach out to us about.

4. How the contact forms work

Both forms on this website submit by opening your own email program (Mail, Gmail, Outlook, etc.) with the message pre-filled. When you press Send, the email goes directly from your email account to service@securepasssolutions.com. No third-party form service receives a copy. We then store that email in our standard email inbox like any other customer communication.

5. Where we store your information and how long we keep it

Information you send us is stored in our business email account and, where appropriate, in our customer records (for active quotes, ongoing installations, and warranty records). We keep customer records for as long as needed to provide the service plus a reasonable period after, generally up to seven years, to support warranty claims, accounting, and legal obligations.

You can ask us to delete information about you that we no longer need to keep — see Section 8 for how.

6. Who we share information with

We share your personal information only when necessary to provide the services you've asked for, or when we're required to by law. That can include:

• Equipment manufacturers or distributors, when needed to fulfill a manufacturer warranty claim on your behalf
• Third-party ULC-listed alarm monitoring stations, only if you elect to subscribe to monitoring and only with the information they require
• Sub-contracted trades (for example, electricians) we may need to bring in to complete your installation, only with what they need to do their work
• Law enforcement, regulators, or courts when we are required to disclose information by Canadian law

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

7. Security of your information

We use reasonable technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse — including password-protected email accounts, locked storage for paper records, and limiting access to authorized personnel. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take protection of your information seriously.

8. Your rights under PIPEDA

Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you rights over your personal information. You can:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Withdraw consent for us to use your information (subject to legal or contractual obligations — for example, we may need to keep some records to fulfill an active warranty)
• Request deletion of information we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep
• File a complaint with us, or with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe we have not handled your information properly

To exercise any of these rights, email service@securepasssolutions.com and let us know what you'd like. We may ask for confirmation that we're speaking to the right person before acting on the request. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

9. Children's information

This website is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-party websites

Our website links to a small number of third-party sites (for example, the manufacturer brand sites we identify on the Products page, or the website of our developer Botthebuilders). When you click through to those sites, their own privacy policies apply — we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for a reasonable period.
